Heritage has long been a place to convene leaders together to further the conservative movement and this week’s guests are a testament to that history.

Your support makes this possible.

Why do you think it is important to constantly host today’s leaders?

There is a saying I learned years ago.
That way, you can built relationship.

I’m not sure why it’s important to host the Congress members since they don’t listen to your ideas. I think they show up for the pictures. Cornyn and Cruz voted yes as well as Smith from Texas. I only wish Rand Paul represented Texas.

I’m ashamed to be a Republican today. GOP members of Congress are more like Democrats than Democrats, DUMB! They all spend our money like drunken sailors and frankly hosting them at a party where they can be seen with the most conservative policy organization in the country and perhaps the world is only helping them! Not the people!

I believe it is important to host the Congress leaders so that people will know who they are & what they are doing for this country. It will help decide who to vote for.

I would love to donate more but I’ll be lucky to make my bills this month & eat. I do a lot of research & writing but i dont get paid for it. I spend most of my time doing it though because I’m good at it.

I think having foreign leaders see conservative policy making in the works gives them a more honest understanding of our country and those who work so hard to keep our country strong.

I’m 75 yrs old and have really been very attentive to how our leaders doing their jobs.
In respect for the constitution of this country’, and the rule of law as well as
“In God We Trust, both houses are sorely
lacking They are no more than pay day bandits looking for whats best for them.

I have been a supporting member since Heritage began and quote from them regularly. I became interested in politics and economic since I was a boy, thanks to my late father, who is my hero and mentor It comes as no surprise that world leaders seek the best advice that can be found short of personally communing with God the Father. Before Heritage there was Wm.F. Buckley and all the contributors to National Review. I owe my wisdom in these areas to becoming acquainted with the world’s greatest conservative minds at a young age. If you do not know the thinking of the men that influence the American Founders, such as Adam Smith and John Locke, then you cannot be equipped for greatness. Leaders of the World who gain knowledge from the greatest American thinkers, easily can see how to make their country better. Absolute Truth comes from God. Anything less is relative truth, meaning that it cannot be relied on. All of America’s great thinkers are locked on the the Almighty, Himself, starting with Wm Bradford who penned the Mayflower Compact right up to Donald Trump, who is a font of wisdom because he listen to the best minds of America and makes policy based on that. People in the world who hold power and seek to grow wiser will easily gravitate to thinkers who are grounded in wisdom. Heritage, and places like Hillsdale College are the the purveyors of such who have no peers. Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin were the greatest minds of America’s destiny for greatness. So if you are a foreign leader who seeks wisdom, America is and has been the City on the Hill. We are that because our great leaders have all been God-fearing men and women who recognized that He is Alpha and the Omega. If you want to be a leader – follow The leader.

Since Heritage is the “go-to-person” for knowledge of the Constitution precepts and principles, hosting of leaders is extremely important. This is a place where encouragement and collaboration can occur between leaders. Foreign leaders can hear about the foundation that made America a light to the world. Mr. Richard Page nailed it to the wall!

Keep open the lines of communication … face to face. It’s important to know what others are thinking and developing. Also, provides a dialog and hopefully debates to clarify issues that quiet possibly be directives and policies.

Jerry Rath - February 10, 2018

I think it is important for leaders from around the world to come to Heritage so that they are educated on the ideals that Heritage promotes. Certainly the Left is a never-ending cancer that is always forcing its dictates on unsuspecting masses. We must push back!

Pat Ellis - February 10, 2018

Heritage is doing an excellent job educating others on conservative ideals and policies. Keep up the great work.
BUT Congress doesn’t seem to be listening. Don’t give up.

Brian Borgelt - February 11, 2018

I see business as the universal language, and that good business keeps the conversation going.
A representative of government who seeks freedom for people to prosper, is a leader worthy of our support.
Thank you Heritage for being there, with God’s blessing, to guide.

Gary Cartright - February 11, 2018

Conservative ideas and conversations is the way we help others understand who we are and what we stand for in America.
People who visit Heritage will be impressed and want to be part of such an successful organization. Its very important to the world that we help as many people as possible.
