Taxpayer-funded commercials paint a rosy picture of the Affordable Care Act. But let’s face it, Obamacare is unworkable. Enjoy our parody.
So, what is stopping Heritage from buying commercial time slots on ALL NETWORKS and running this ad????? Is Heritage being denied time slots? Where are the bill boards? Where are the mass mailings?
This commercial hits the nail on the head. Especially pertinent is the closed suggestion “contact your doctor if you experience anxiety for more that 4 hours!” That defunding Obamacare failed may be a blessing in disguise – gives John Q American the opportunity to experience first hand what the Dems have bestowed on us!!
Its not about health or care. Freedom is on the run. Pray hard America!
Good parody in truth and sarcasm… made me chuckle.
The “Deal” makes it clear our #1 priority is re-education of the public through a huge social network to overcome the misleading TV media who simply lied about the Tea Party being responsible for the shutdown. It is a waste of time to attack Obama, but showing working people the freedoms and money they are losing will get results. I didn’t understand most of the fast-talk part of the commercial. Maybe young people can understand, but I was frustrated.
I’m not impressed by this ad. It tries to get too much verbiage/information into too short a time frame, thus overtaxing the short attention spans of most of the people it was intended to influence. It’s visually and auditorily confusing, another minus.
The humor is pretty much lost: The reason for all of that gibbering about side effects at the end of the prescription drug ads (that this one attempts to mock) is that the manufacturers DON’T want anybody to really hear the words. We DO want people to hear them, because those words, spoken too rapid-fire in this ad for all but the keenly interested to bother following, constitute the meat of the message.
An example of an anti-Obamacare ad that works is the “creepy Uncle Sam” one. It’s to the point, visually arresting, funny and–most importantly–memorable.
Keep trying. Getting rid of Obamacare is too important to spend donors’ money running ineffective ads.
The first part of the video almost gives the impression that ObamaCare is terrific. I was not impressed with the last part either. I am an amateur but I think I could have created a much more effective parody. Just an opinion.
My wife and I raised our 5 children to be productive members of society without asking or accepting any government aid, we had high deductible medical insurance we could afford and payed eye care and dentist out of pocket as we have always been self employed. We are now for the first time considering being uninsured because under the ACA our rates more than double to $1,300 per month and our deductible increases to $10,000. The ACA has taken our insurance away what a lie this has all been.
This is a GREAT spot!! ObamaCare is a disaster designed to fail – another ‘crisis’ Obama can make and take advantage of to implement his real goal – a single-payer health-care system. The propaganda is already intense–hope you can run this spot often. Thanks for your good work! ~Karen

After going to get my flu shot for the past 8-10 yrs. at my local pharmacy, this year on Oct 16, after Obamacare kicked in, I was told that Medicare would no longer pay for flu shots for anyone over 83, I am 85. This made me realize that Obamacare is totally useless for seniors, The plan is to let them die. Too many things about this “affordable health care” program is a disaster.
We MUST get through to Congress that we CANNOT CONTINUE OVER-SPENDING ! ! ! ! !
We MUST start paying down the debt ! ! ! ! !
I am very concerned about the non informed people, who believe everything the national media has fed them and what our schools are teaching. We have lost a whole generation or more of people with lies and free handouts and more importantly the sense of victim mentality. We have created “dope” for the nopes. Heaven help us. I’m not sure we can fix any of this.
I have an understanding of what to support and not to support thanks to Hillsdale College, if people would spend some time to study our history and the economics behind the success of this country the decisons they would make would be in favor of a conservative agenda and capitalism.
Hope this ad gets out to all Democrats and especially all Democrat Senators who, of course, voted for this bill.
SC Justice John Roberts should be sent this daily in case he doesn’t think it applies to him.
This is a lie. And a disgrace. Nothing honest about the GOP..
