Heritage has a unique place on Capitol Hill: our experts and staff have the resources and expertise to address not only problems in the top halls of government, but problems thatimpact citizens and communities every day.

Recently, America’s culture has struggled with the cancer identity politics. From affirmative action programs to laws threatening religious freedom in the name of “tolerance,” the deeply American value that “all men are created equal” is threatened from all sides.

That’s where you and Heritage come in.

Heritage experts are taking a stand against identity politics, in an effort spearheaded by expert Mike Gonzalez. In addition to authoring a new book on identity politics, Gonzalez has released multiple works both in The Daily Signal and elsewhere on the problem of identity politics. Last week, he published a piece in the Atlantic City Press, contrasting how while conservatives are silenced on college campuses, progressive and even communist voices can speak proud, loud, and long if they fit in a multicultural box.

Other experts are also sounding off on the issue. Last Monday, senior research fellow Ryan Anderson released a detailed commentary on how anti-discrimination policies have been abused in recent years, and how anti-discrimination should really work if it is going to protect everyone without propping up a biased agenda or interfering with freedom of speech or religion.

By raising awareness of the problems and solutions to identity politics, your support of Heritage is bringing sound conservative insight to the issues facing Americans today.

How have you seen identity politics impact your community? What do you think we should do about the problem?

I want you to convey to the Republican members of Congress that I am so pissed over the budget busting budget they passed that I am ready to throw all of them who voted for it, overboard.

There should be no tabulation of any data at the federal level divided by group other than american citizens. All men are created equal so all laws, programs and subsidies should only reference citizens. When the census comes to anyone the race should be citizen or non citizen.

Government, from the local homeowners association to the U.N., is mostly populated by people who are seeking power. Once they seem to have it, they watch for opportunities to use it. First they tend to use it for their personal preferences and prosperity, and secondly they will use it to keep themselves in power by cultivating supporters. Citizens can more easily notice misuse of power at the local level. Higher levels of government are the most dangerous. The only way to minimize damage is to keep the term of office as short as possible and to make it more difficult to be re-elected than to be elected once.

Identity politics were invented by the demmycrats (no offense to my Democrat friends: “demmycrat” is a term of usage to indicate leftist radical folk who don’t know we have an actual Constitution.)
Let the Left stew in their own juices, but turn their own spiteful assertions back on them at every opportunity in court…

I will continue to vote my values at every level of government and pray that Constitutional Conservatives will also.

The radical left is off balance regarding inequality for the transgender population. When this happens it becomes a big issue for all Americans. There are people who work, have family members who are good people with no gender discrimination. After all the pressing in your face demanding more rights than the average people, this also creates contention in all people. Especially among families. Playing down to the radical ideology of discrimination would bring back equality.

Heritage needs to form young Millennial groups of conservative students or leaders to speak at schools and on college campuses about conservative views on issues that appeal to other millennial groups. Your emphasis needs to be on FUTURE voters!

Stop pushing “Diversity”. Schools beginning with K-6 should focus on building American citizens with respect for all ethnic & religious backgrounds, but all (no hyphens) Americans. Say the pledge. Learn the history. Affirm the good, Rue the bad, Look to the future! Build the wall, though, and insist on English!

2 comments: as a rapid reader with limited time, I’d rather have you print the whole story instead of watching a video. Possible?
As the mother of 3 adult sons, I know young men are the most discriminated against in the country–probably kept them out of the colleges of their choice.
