On Tuesday, after rumors of talk show host Oprah Winfrey running for president in 2020, newly-elected Heritage president Kay Coles James took to Twitter to invite Winfrey to debate.

James is never one to shy away from a good debate and Heritage is always open for sharing the conservative perspective on today’s issues.

It remains to be seen whether Winfrey will accept the challenge to debate or not.

If Winfrey came to Heritage, what issues would you want to be discussed?

1. Best judicial temperament for a Supreme Court Nominee.
2. Pros and Cons of chain migration and birthright citizenship for children of those illegally in the country.

Natalia Kandror - January 12, 2018

It is a big question if Oprah will run or not but invitation is a good thing anyway.
Policy discussion do not have to be between candidates, people of all walks of life could participate.
I am not sure that you have to debate, open dialog seems more appropriate.

Ken Bungard - January 12, 2018

How do you feel about lower taxes . Are you America first or world view person. Do you believe in constitution or needs modified.

Gerald Adamson - January 12, 2018

The same issues president Trump is trying to get our rhino’s to do.

Charles Houser - January 12, 2018

How would you solve the immigration issue?

Pixie Keating - January 12, 2018

I’m sure Oprah is familiar with American Culture, but is she really aware of how different many parts of the world are from the US. Just what does she know about the military and WAR? Oprah is a good woman, but I wonder how tough she’d be with guys like Putin and Little Rocket Man who might not see her in the same light as the MSM.

Barbara - January 12, 2018

I mainly want a constitutional Pres. that
loves it and all our people not a divider.
Ive appreciated Oprah since she was just on radio, I am 89 and 5mths to 90 yr
and we all love each other (tho some do not) & they are welcome too but not to change America. We must be united!

Jacqueline Matson - January 12, 2018

Student debt is a form of slavery for our young people. Many of them will never be able to pay them off, which means putting off marriage, having families and being independent. Something needs to be done about this problem. People canwalkaway from their homes and car loans, but not student debt.

Thomas Cummins - January 12, 2018

What to do about parents being responsible for all of the needs of their children instead of passing this onto the tax payer.

Lloyd De Vinney - January 12, 2018

Is Oprah willing to stay the course President Trump has set. What would Oprah change? Do you agree with how the President is handling Iraq? What would you do to reign in Iran, North Korea, and China?

Timothy R Eby - January 12, 2018

I doubt that she will be willing to have a logical, reasoned discussion. Here are my suggestions should she accept:

The Constitution and the rule of law
Immigration and the rule of law
Fiscal policy and the rule of law
Foreign policy and the rule of law
Separation of powers via the Constitution
Separation of church and state

William Coates - January 12, 2018

Can she judge people by the content of their character, not the color of their skin?
What does she base character judgment on?
I’m afraid this prospect puts me in the same boat as the European journalist who wrote in 2011 that the world can survive an Obama presidency, but can it survive an America that elects him?

Al Darold - January 12, 2018

I would focus on three issues –
1 – how do you view the US Constitution? Are you an originalist or do you see it as adaptable to current needs?
2 – what are your views on capitalism? Do you feel it is best to rely on free markets or use the government to direct the economy?
3 – Do you favor limited government or would you rely on government to address most problems?

Jim Soricelli - January 12, 2018

There all good topics, but I would add what’s her stance stance on aborti.

Carl Linge - January 12, 2018

Winfrey should not be encouraged in any way to run for office. Heritage should not give credibility to such a person who has espoused opinions inimical to the conservative cause.

Larry Watson - January 12, 2018

Global Warming/Climate Change, Lower Taxes more to help the poor, Socialize Medicine costs 4 times more then our current medical system, .

Jerry Rath - January 12, 2018

Over 70% of African-American children are born out of wedlock! Does Oprah realize that this must be addressed by successful African-Americans in the U.S.? Will she give this more than token mention?
Compare the African-American problems to the immigration of Asians! This is at the core of the black culture problems. I’m not a racist; just a realist.

BERNI - January 12, 2018

I am so sock of those playing up the ‘ RACISTS ‘ theme. Many people see
as Oprah might, see only ‘BLACK & WHITE ‘ PEOPLE.
I see the difference in black & white is 150 BILLION YEARS OF EVOLUTION. Nature gave the dark skin chemistry to protect them from the heat and hot sun. As when the population was then in the “cold weather” …Nature gave them a different chemistry to protect them from the extreme cold. Also, those in the extreme cold weather, Nature made their noses longer so as not to breath in the extreme cold.
For those that are Racist, please check the historical fact why there is such a variance of skin color. AND PLEASE DO NOT DEFEND THE POPULATION BECAUSE OF THE DIFFERENT SKIN COLOR ONLY.

Karen Kuske - January 12, 2018

Rick Mendes - January 12, 2018

I have always thought Winfrey was more moderate than most progressives. If she visits Heritage, ask her for her ideas on bringing moderate republicans and democrats together in a bi-partisan way.

I think the only way we are ever going to get the far left and far right to be more reasonable is to build a large bi-partisan group at the center of the political spectrum.

Delmar Groen - January 12, 2018

I would like to learn from Oprah:
1. What are your core guiding principles of governing?
2. Are you a strict constitutionalist? If not, please specify.
3. Would you appoint constitutionalist justices and judges?
4. What are your guiding principles on international relations?
5. How would you propose to improve race relations? …Relationship between law enforcement and many in the black community?
6. How do you understand the balance of authority between the state and federal government?
7. Do you think the federal government should be smaller or enlarged? Why? How?
8. How do you view upholding the first amendment with regard to freedom of religion?
8. How do you view upholding the first amendment with regard to freedom of speech?
9. How do you view upholding the second amendment?
10. Do you favor socializing public ownership of any assets currently held privately?
11. Do you favor having the government redistributing wealth by taking from those who have more and giving to those who have less?
12. What is your position of the life of the pre-born and euthanasia?

Mary Gentry - January 12, 2018

> How would she handle the North Korean mess?
> Her views on illegal and legal immigration?
> Would she put America first?
> Would she bring sanctuary cities/states to heel?
> Does she think the Constitution is a living document, or should it be interpreted by the courts as written?
> Would she go back to the “leading from behind” policies of Obama?
> What does she think of the United States of America?
> What does she think the immigration policy of the US should be?
> Does she think the US should be more conciliatory with foreign powers (Obama), or should the US project strong leadership (Trump)?
> Would she be racially devisive (as some of her comments suggest), or would she try to heal the racial divisions in the country?
> Do you think a limited federal government is the best way to make America prosper?

Nancy Beutel - January 12, 2018

I have long been vitally interested in Alternative Medicine and Prevention but now even moreso because I have an inoperable pancreatic tumor for which there are “no good solutions” according to my oncologist. That is, no good solutions apart from Alternative Therapies! For many decades now our government has been colluding with BigPharma and other institutional giants which have a vested interest in NOT curing cancer! We have abundant evidence that many types of cancer have been cured, and this is recognized around the world. Yet only in the United States are we punished for curing life-threatening diseases. Immunizations are another thicket of horrors inflicted on the public; especially troublesome are increases in those being mandated for small children, even newborn babies. And should the parent refuse, they may be threatened with being blacklisted and the child prevented from entering public school. That is to take only two examples. There are many horrors connected with how a person chooses to farm and raise animals and what they may consume or share with others; especially if any money changes hands. Our government is OUT OF CONTROL. Ms James, Do you know what is being done about the loss of our freedom to choose how to care for ourselves, to feed ourselves, and prevent disease ourselves, according to our own ability to educate ourselves — on the public policy front? And, Ms Winfrey, what would you do if you were President to free up the citizens from the constraints of heavy government interference in what should be our personal choices to manage and maintain our bodies in health and free from disease?

Mike Moody - January 12, 2018

I would like to ask her does she think President Trump is racist and also does she think President Obama is racist. Those two answers could be very revealing as to how she thinks.

David Dively - January 12, 2018

What is truth? Is there such a thing as “my truth” and “your truth”?

Robert Cornell - January 12, 2018

Ask her how she thinks wealth is created in a capitalist system.
Does she think she exploited others to accumulate her wealth?
If you could set marginal tax rates what would they be?
How big should the government be as a percentage of GDP.
What would you change about our educational system at each level?
What does she think is wrong with conservative minded people?

Bonnie Chambers - January 12, 2018

Enforcement of laws on the books
What would she change

SHARON L IMEL - January 12, 2018

1.Safety from foreign countries
2. Fair immigration for all not just, Mexicans, who use and abuse our country at hard working Americans expense.
3. Respect for the American Indians, who nurtured America long before we came.
4. Our right to protect ourselves is our right to be free. How do you feel about this and the threat of a foreign entity.
5. What is the difference from you and the the previous Democratic runner, Clinton?
The previous Democratic parties almost ruined this country into hopeless despair until President trump came along. He has in his own and individual way made America stronger, safer, and inspired our economy to where the American people have hope again. Would you be able to do this as well, or would you follow the previous Democratic record. and solicit poverty to gain strength, building government oppression and building populous reliance on the Government?
6. Earth and strong economy/ can we live together? Work/jobs/protection/care for Animals?
7.How do you feel about how the food processing industry and how the animals are so mistreated in the slaughter house?
8.How do you feel about the nuisance the homeless people create on the streets, causing so much damage, filth, and mess? Do you think the hard working people should have to live with these people ruining the streets,
our buildings, and our properties?
9. Why are you running in the Democratic political arena? This is the Arena where the Government is taking more and more control of the people and causing poverty and decline. Why not run for a republican ticket, and see what you can do to increase the strength of the country?

Scerita Dugas - January 12, 2018

What are Oprah’s ideas about our broken immigration system
And what are ideas about fixing the DACA situation.

Don Bascom - January 12, 2018

You are a great example of how a hard working person can become a success in the USA. As president, how would you encourage responsibility vs entitlement, while still providing help to the truly needy?

Gordon Sinclair - January 12, 2018

Ask Oprah, her top five important topics that would make America great again.
Policy on economics, what policies of Obama & Trump helped & hindered the economy?
What policies would help keep America safe again in light of North Korea, Isis, Russia and China?
What would she propose to decrease the popularity of Communism?

Charlie Davis - January 12, 2018

How do you determine what is right and wrong? What is truth? What is your frame of reference in making decisions ?

Jeanette Burrage - January 12, 2018

I hope you can discuss the economy and the laws of supply and demand. Perhaps she would be willing to gather information on the subject.

Kathryn Gardner - January 12, 2018

My question would be the same as Don Bascom’s with an emphasis on young women in high school till age 35.

Steve Ragan - January 12, 2018

Most of the critical issues for our society have been covered. I would want to know though what her views on freedom to exercise our faiths would be. Does she really support religious freedom? Or does she support the left’s view that our faith should be kept in the closet?

Philip C Heitz - January 12, 2018

If Oprah becomes President I wish to see her stress the need to use Logic, not Emotion, to create solutions to America’s Problems.
In addition I want her to be aware of the need to maintain Constitutional balance in Government, keeping the branches separate but equal. Pay careful attention to the 10th Amendment, and make note of the fact that the Constitution begins with a directive that states the Federal Government must promote the General, not Individual, Welfare of the Nation. that requires Infrastructure maintenance and development. Individual welfare should be the responsibility of the States.

Lawrence Dill - January 12, 2018

Will Oprah continue the measures that stimulated the economy so that everyone can be financially independent or revert to the welfare mode?

Janice Norris - January 12, 2018

Ask Oprah if she supports Planned Parenthood and if she does. What answer will she give God when he asks her why she believes in pulling late term babies out of their mother’s womb and sucking their brains out. God said he knew us in our mother’s womb before we were born. Sincerely, Jan Norris

Robert - January 12, 2018

What’s her foreign policy experience? Most important function of presidency. Does she consider it as important? Or will she pull an Obama on us and “lead from behind”? just the fact that each person, regardless of race or origin, is responsible for their own future… no class of people should be given special privileges. Is the Constitution the supreme law of the land? Would she follow immigration laws now on the books? Is it the federal goat’s authority to take over health care?

John - January 12, 2018

1. Does she consider herself an African American or an American? An American that believes the Constitution IS the law of the land and is not to be subverted by the America-hating left and their activist judges who all prefer a one world order. The same one world order that is being bought and paid for by people like George Soros.
2. Does she truly believe in God? That this country was founded on Judaeo-Christian principles, values, beliefs?
3. Will she defend it against all who wish to destroy it?

It is my opinion that she will NOT measure up to any of these and that, in the end, talking to her will be a colossal waste of time.

Bob Heffelfinger - January 12, 2018

I believe Oprah Winfrey has spent significant time and money trying to help the less fortunate, which is one of her passions. So perhaps a discussion regarding what is best way to uplift people so they can achieve and realize their dreams? Is it government assistance? Or education and providing meaningful employment? What is her view on the proper size and scope of government?

Tom Lanners - January 12, 2018

Ask her one question, where do our rights come from. Then do not talk. Listen to her answer if you can get one out of all the verbiage she will surely put forth. If she answers, and answers correctly, then you can discuss with her what Heritage stands for, and go from there. If she doesn’t answer, or answers incorrectly, you don’t really have anything to discuss do you?

Leon Dillman - January 12, 2018

Reading all the comments made me wonder if I am the only one concerned with the abortion issue. Has Oprah ever spoken on the issue. I am not a follower of hers, so I don’t know what her position is. If she runs as a Democrat, she has to be pro-abortion or she would be ousted from the party, but I would like to know if she is as radical as Clinton and Pelosi are.

Gary Amore - January 12, 2018

If debate with Oprah.. ask do you believe that the good of the U S Citizens comes before the Democratic Party?

Bill Thweatt - January 12, 2018

I must agree with Mr. Carl Linge. Ms Winfrey does NOT need to be encouraged in any way, shape or form to run for President of the USA. NO conservative organization should be providing any encouragement or lend any credibility to anyone associated with the Leftist, the “Demon-crats” or the “Hollywood elitists”.

However, should Heritage continue to pursue this path; I would suggest asking the following questions of Ms Winfrey.
1) If President Trump is not able to restore America’s AAA credit rating; how would Ms Winfrey propose for American to regain her once unblemished AAA credit rating??
2) What is Ms Winfrey’s position on abortion??
3) What is Ms Winfrey’s position on John 14:6?? Does Ms Winfrey believe Jesus is “THE WAY” as John 14: 6 states or does Ms Winfrey believe Jesus is “a way” which John 14: 6 does NOT state??
4) What is Ms Winfrey’s position on restoring prayer to schools and at the schools public sporting events??
5) Who would be Ms Winfrey’s possible nominees for Supreme Court justices??
6) What is Ms Winfrey’s definition of “marriage”??
7) Will Ms Winfrey support and defend the country of Israel?? Does Ms Winfrey support Jerusalem as the Capitol City of Israel??

James A Thissen - January 12, 2018

If you partner with Oprah.
I will question my reading Heritage mail !!!

R Streom - January 12, 2018

Oprah was interviewed by BBC’s Will Gompertz on 11-16-2013. During this interview she was asked, “Is the question of racism resolved?”
Her reply was, “Of course the problem is not solved. As long as people can be judged by the color of their skin, the problem’s not solved. As long as there are people who still… And there’s a whole generation — I said this for apartheid South Africa, I said this for my own community in the South — there are still generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die.”

She is not necessarily suggesting any one race need to die. Just that prejudice must. Good luck on that. If the first story I remember about prejudice rings true, that being Cain slew Abel, then the possibilities of prejudice going away are nil to none.

Maybe the most poignant were the words of Julius Caesar as his friend Brutus was among those stabbing him, “Et Tu, Brute”

John R. Toler - January 12, 2018

How would she restore our severely depleted military? I don’t believe the politicians understand that our military is stretched dangerously thin, yet they keeping asking them to do more with less. Ronald Reagan once noted that in his lifetime he’d never known America to be attacked because we were too strong. The point he was making was that weakness invites aggression. We have lots of potential aggressors there watching for an opportunity. Think December 7, 1941.

Michael A Stahl - January 12, 2018

Is it really the Federal Governments job to provide for everyone (unless you are conservative) ? Or is it the Federal Governments job to remove the obstacles so you can provide for yourself and your family. Sorry I have two. Why are Christians treated like inhuman garbage. If the government would get out of our way, we could help most of those in need. I suspect the majority of the illegal immigrants coming from the Southern Hemisphere are Christian. Just my opinion, can’t base it on fact.

Ask Oprah why democrats never support tax cuts for the American people. Ask why it’s ok for Mexico to secure its southern border but not the U.S. Ask why she supports killing babies…most of them black. Also ask her how it is that democrats have run cities like Detroit, Baltimore, Cleveland, and Chicago for 50 years and never brought them out of poverty and crime.

How would she restore uncompromized representation to the people (constituents) and remove influence from outside a representative’s district?

J. P. Owen - January 13, 2018

Last week the article by Dr. Dennis Prager dealing with the problems we face and what to do about them could be summarized by the Humanist view that Mankind can fix everything with more Government Control. (absolute power). As we all know this leads to what we now have as “Absolute Corruption”. How blind are we to trust in “Mankind” when thru the centuries of History has proved that trust in ” GOD Almighty” has given to us frail humans His plan; written down in HIS WORD ( aka the BIBLE). The founding Documents that created our “limited Government” gave us the blueprint to the fastest most prosperious grow ever. Corrupt Mankind will destroy itself when they trust themselves (Mankind). It is simple to understand when you compare 1960’s to what we have now with those who forgot the CREATOR of all. In the ’62-’63 era is when they took PRAYER out of the Public Schools. ( also the 10 Commanments) SO…how do you teach kids ( the next generation) moral values like not to Kill-Not to steal-not to commit adultry. In schools now you have Public Safety Officers( ARMED),Metal detectors, drug sniffing K-9s and no respect for the teacher as a human being!!!. should i go on……; as for OPRAH…well I would like to have Dennis Prager ask her about some of these comparisions over the past 58 years and see what kind of answers that she can cook up. After all GOD told us that when you forget HIM; HE would give them up to a “REPROBATE MIND”!! thus the explaination of what goes on in Congress.

Dennis Johnson - January 13, 2018

I would want these questions asked of Oprah or any candidate for political office.
What is her stand on the meaning of the constitution and the rule of law.
What is her stand on legal and illegal immigration.
Where does she stand on gun control.
Where does she stand on national security.
How would she unite a country that has grown so divided by politicians in the last 10 years.
How is she going to protect the American citizen against the corruption of big government and its non elected bureaucrats in government agency’s like the IRS, DOJ, EPA, Homeland Security.
Where does she stand on waste in government spending of tax dollars on useless and non essential programs and the out of control national debt.

Jerry Grossman - January 13, 2018

The list of topics is a mile long, but we have to begin somewhere. I’d start with a a factual summary of the damage wraught by Democrat governance (cities), anti-capitalist/anti-religious education and leftist Balkanization of America (by race, gender, PC codes,). Find out if Oprah acknowledges these things and how she would fix them.

Michael Ray - January 13, 2018

Oprah has done extremely well as a capitalist. How will she use that talent to reduce the number of people on welfare programs and create jobs.

Robert Leach - January 13, 2018

I hope you can ask her why liberals in Congress and the media, ultimately call all of us with conservative ideas, racist. It has polarized America and led to hatred on both sides.

Susan Rose - January 13, 2018

MANUEL S. STA ROMANA Jr - January 13, 2018

Christine Salter - January 13, 2018

I’d like you to discuss the Convention of States will Oprah.

Ray Nixon - January 13, 2018

The National Debt
National Security
Political Polarization

carole boddicker - January 13, 2018

We must fund and build the wall!!

Nancy Chubbs - January 13, 2018

I am really confused what it is about women that need so much attention. If a woman is secure in her religion, her person and family why does she need government attention?

J. Michael Clark Sr. (Mike) - January 13, 2018

Oprah will not run. I don’t watch Oprah. All I know is second hand. I’ve never heard that she has any interest in these Presidential responsibilities.

Stan Beachy - January 13, 2018

I would like to see you challenge her, even if she doesn’t run, to use her position of influence to strengthen African-American family structure in the US, specifically by challenging fathers to take responsibility for the care and nurture of the children they bring into the world.

Charles S. Mancuso - January 13, 2018

Opra’s understanding of the US Constitution is paramount, especially the first ten amendments!

Robert Ewald - January 13, 2018

Immigration is probably my 1 issue. The second is how Democrats diminish blacks through outrageous welfare programs.

Timothy R. Buttner - January 13, 2018

Aside from the “women’s issue”, which I believe to be a phony issue, what policies and programs of Mr. Obama would you like to see further promulgated?

Pat Ellis - January 13, 2018

How can American citizens get our country to unite and support our president? How can we get citizens and organizations to stop bashing our president?

Doris Parker - January 13, 2018

how late in a pregnancy is it ok to kill a baby
North Korea
Iran Nuclear deal
Her opinion on the Russian collusion mess

Richard Beightol - January 13, 2018

I think one item that Oprah Winfrey would have an edge if running for President is that she stands a good winning chance to bring our Country to unify, draw our entire Country to band together. Perhaps better than anyone I can think of!!

Toney - January 13, 2018

What has her party done to help the poor short of just handing over tax payers money and what would she do.

Randy - January 13, 2018

Academic question. NO WAY Oprah will visit Heritage.

James Reid Hahn - January 13, 2018

1-will she answer facts or divert from them?
2-will she focus on facts or personalities?
3-will she protect US citizens ahead of illegal immigrants?
4-based on facts, what is her position on the wall & why?
5-what’s her position on 2nd amendment & what peer reviewed facts support her?
6-what’s her position on sanctuary cities following the law? Does she support the law?

Mark Tomasevich - January 13, 2018

I think the invitation is a brilliant move, a win win. If she declines, advertise the heck out of that and that’s a win. If she accepts, pick any of the suggestions I’ve read in the comments and just get her to answer with some substance.

One question would be her views on the size and reach of government.

Floyd Keinath - January 13, 2018

Is she a “Tax & Spend” person ? What will she do about the bloated Welfare system. What will she do about all the Illegal immigrants that have broken the law ?

Robert Gingrich - January 13, 2018

Before you ask her anything, you need to put her under oath to honestly answer any questions you put to her. I think she is one of the biggest phonies to ever come down the pike.

Michael Brown - January 13, 2018

What are your thoughts on our national security? What are you ideas on the subject?

Bonnie Winslow - January 13, 2018

Foreign policy as to North Korea, China, Israel, Isis, Russia, and all of the middle east.
Decrease in discretionary spending unless and until the budget is permanently balanced.
Constitutional law and the purpose of the Supreme Court (interpretation vs legislation from the bench).
Immigration policy and law enforcement.

Diane Stevens - January 13, 2018

The amount of $$ spent on & for illegals in America. Why do Amercans have to pay for the children of illegals- these children ARE NOT DREAMERS- the children of LEGAL Americans are the real DREAMERS. Illegals put their children at risk – we did not do that but we are being told to support ILLEGALS’ kids & not oir own!!! Why is this?

Jim Collins - January 13, 2018

I recommend having discussion on how programs intended to lift people up to be self sufficient can be consolidated and improved to be more effective and efficient vs. simply expanded and made more expensive.

Also, I recommend discussing the need for, and benefits of a merit-based immigration system, supported by border security and enforcement of the law.

Thanks for asking!

Marilyn S Mackey - January 13, 2018

She seems to be someone who is very interested in social issues. I’d like to have here respond to how she would deal with the entitlement debt that we’re drowning in.

Patricia Cox - January 13, 2018

How would she deal with the hypocrisy of the democrats?
How would she approach getting people off welfare?
Which of Obama’s policies did she dislike the most?
Which parties policies does she think helped her reach success and why?

Joseph Burke - January 13, 2018

What is Oprah’s view and stand on abortion. With the Democrat stand of complete, 9-month approval, would she support that?

Karen Christensen - January 13, 2018

Does she believe the Constitution of the United States is real and true (as it was originally written?)
marriage only between a man and a woman
does she believe in our 2nd amendment rights?
foreign policy – being friends to all, but not making alliances with our enemies.
tax reform
free market healthcare

Ted Doiron - January 13, 2018

1- Discuss why all the HYPE about DACA and why not discuss the real issue: the law of Immigration. 2- How can we keep out Jihadists from entering our country and how do we expel those already here. 3- Our schools are not competing with the rest of the world. Where is the problem? Discuss the issues without the hype and do not let her get away with holding America hostage to the emotions of the liberal strategy. Ted

John A. Quayle - January 13, 2018

The progressive movement has been such an utter disaster for minorities – particularly black folks. Yet, they seem to be welded to the Democrat party with its far leftist ideals. Why?

Eleanor P - January 14, 2018

I would ask Oprah how she plans to manage the economy, how she plans to budget the armed forces, education and healthcare, how will she handle North Korea, Iran, China and Russia.

Suzanne Russell - January 14, 2018

I would want to know if she would be a President for the whole country, not just once group. We have many groups in our country and it takes a lot of love to support them all. Can she do that?

Susan Dobzynial - January 14, 2018

The effect of healthcare policy on the medical profession. Policy that will release it from the regulatory morass and bureaucratic schemes and allow it to thrive, policy that will allow physicians to engage in commerce equal to the rest of Americans.

Ken Gaines - January 14, 2018

Are you for improving the economic position of the lower class by training and job growth or entitlements?

Fortney - January 14, 2018

I wouldn’t give her the time of day till she is a serious candidate. Now, only gives her notoriety politically.
Second, somebody needs get to Trump with his childish, immature and cutter ghetto actions. If not, it just gives the Jackasses more ammunition and Trump will be a one term President. Not even Rebublicans like his rhetoric
Crossover voters are not that loyal.

Larry Batman - January 14, 2018

What would you purpose to change so that the FDA would have the power it used to have before Big Pharma took over?

Nancy Bendick - January 14, 2018

How will she handle the “face” of America? Apologize for it like Obama or be upfront and put America first to America and the world like Trump has?

What are her thoughts on: nationalized health care, medicare, jobs, illegal immigration or, rather, immigration in all forms?

Darla McNeese - January 14, 2018

She will be one to stand with Israel and for the truth of the Bible.

Arthur - January 14, 2018

Is she going to unite the country and how.

Robert Franz, Jr. - January 15, 2018

I would like to read the clearly defined, specific life principles on which she stands which direct her philosophy of life and her thinking. How do these principles direct her far left thimking?
What values does she live by? Why does she reject traditional American values of family faith and freedom?

Marlene Inverso - January 15, 2018

Religious Freedom

Robert Wedge - January 15, 2018

1.) her take on Marxism
2.) The progressive plantation- the ruse that democrats care about anything other than power and votes
3.) same issue on immigration as #2
4.) Minimum wage consequences

What kind of Supreme Court justices would she appoint?
Does she support Planned Parenthood?
Does she know of the great harm to the mothers, both physically and emotionally, from having an abortion? How does she reconcile her support of abortion if she does?
What does she see as the role of the federal government in education? Would she support eliminating the Dept of Education? Why or why not?

Does she believe in term limits for Congress, both House & Senate?

I say to give her some rope and a lead and let her hang herself on her own beliefs! Be clever and smooth!

Nick Valdrighi - January 15, 2018

I would like to have the following topics discussed:
The US Constitution and Limited Government
Term Limits
Immigration and the rule of law
The advantages of less Federal regulation and control

john ball - January 15, 2018

Healthcare, our Military strength, immigration, increasing or decreasing the Federal Gov. size, and involvement in States affairs. Protecting & securing our borders. How would she create unity among all Americans.

Elizabeth F. Nottrodt - January 15, 2018

I would like her to agitate for public schools to adapt a curriculum that teaches morals and patriotism as they did until the 60’s.

She could speak out in favor of the return of prayer to the public schools.

Mary Westcott - January 15, 2018

Compare rights of women in the US with rights of women in Asia, the middle east, and Africa; Views on sanctity of life, the constitution, immigration, freedom vs. responsibility of citizens, individualism vs community, equality of opportunity or equality of outcomes. How can we strengthen families, to ensure a strong future for America?

Lee Guldin - January 16, 2018

How would she unite the Left and Right in congress and bring the race card into being unified again after Obama did such a great job in placing that wedge into place and stepping on it every chance he had?

Jim F - January 16, 2018

I would like to see how she would want to fix healthcare.

What is her plan for education.

Please do not have the debate if the questions and answers sought are going to just skim the surface.

Carol Brumwell - January 16, 2018

What about the Democrat Party core philosophy especially reflects your values? So much of what you say about personal responsibility matches GOP principles that we seem better aligned.
For example, you’re quoted as writing in 2007 “We all are responsible for ourselves, that you create your own reality by the way you think and therefore act. You cannot blame apartheid, your parents, your circumstances, because you are not your circumstances. You are your possibilities.”

Jody Jordan - January 16, 2018

I would start with the impact that abortion has had on the black population. Then how it affects our whole country and the consequences we will suffer for killing our children.

Alan Feuerwerker - January 16, 2018

Kay and Oprah should discuss how best to help African Americans in the inner cities. With the billions of dollars we have spent to help them why are they not progressing?

Margret Jarvis - January 16, 2018

How the policy,s of the left have hurt the black people.

Nancy McKnight - January 17, 2018

What is your feeling about government debt?

Earl Henricksson - January 17, 2018

education choice for everybody. tax credits for homeschooling.

Jim Murphy - January 17, 2018

Oprah is an entertainer who moved into the corporate business world of communications, however she never has been a candidate for public office or sought a major appointment. Starting a public life as a Presidential candidate seems more “Hollywood” than real life–the way she lived in Chicago.

William Parker - January 17, 2018

How big does she think the Federal Government should be.

Joe Defez - January 18, 2018

1. Military Preparedness
2. Free Speech. Campus riots.
Exclusion of invited conservatives.
3. Right to bear arms.
4. Middle East. Iran disaster Syria is
lost as Russia builds ports & airfields
that threaten U.S.
5. Climate. Why is the world’s daily
temperature not broadcast as are
local daily highs and lows?

Tim Beck - January 18, 2018

Would she curtail / cut federal government spending / address “entitlement” reform, and follow policies that would serve to reduce the growing dependency on the federal government? Or would she follow the progressive agenda and continue to expand the scope of the federal government?

Janis Schofield - January 18, 2018

All of the above suggestions sound great. I would also ask her about how she would address all the legal issues facing Hillary Clinton.

Len Williams - January 19, 2018

The Constitution! North Korea.
All the progress President Trump has brought to our country eg the stock
market, etc,etc.. Abortion.

Sandra Mikesell-Ireland - January 30, 2018

If Oprah visits Heritage:
* Divisive Politics – will riots start up again if she is the President. Will she denigrate the first responders like Obama did. Will she support the military or start cutting them back again jeopardizing our country.

* Is her focus going to be suppressing freedom of speech and religion by saying that anyone who does not agree with the alphabet of gender is evil. For example if someone does not agree with Christian beliefs that is their choice they can worship elsewhere. So likewise Christians should be able to have their beliefs and be protected. For instance must a gay couple ONLY go to a Christian cake shop so that they can sue them and put them out of business?

Is she opposed to free speech and the 2nd amendment?

Is she pro Shirah law so that women can be abused here in this country as they have been known to do to their own women?

Basically is she a female Barack Obama
