Why Trump’s new North Korea sanctions matter >>

The administration’s focus on shipping and trading companies is a proper response to recent evidence of North Korean ships transferring goods at sea in order to evade detection,” Bruce Klingner, a North Korea expert at the conservative Heritage Foundation, wrote on Friday.

“But the strategy seems misplaced, since it is a reactive game of maritime whack-a-mole rather than actively targeting the more readily identifiable financial backers. Trump must turn up the heat on Beijing by going after complicit Chinese banks.

We hear a lot about “fake news” so there is some attention paid to what is broadcast. There is not enough attention paid to the conservative view, however. The story needs to be told that tax cuts (and reform) do work; that a foreign policy based on strength, not appeasement, does work; that reducing regulation, not increasing the burden of government oversight, does work. All of these actions, and more, serve to support our capitalistic economy and reward participating citizens – but the story needs to be told.
Thank you.

The exoatjmosppheric kinetic vehicle was a Raytheon preoduct 20 years ago or so. My son worked on it as an electronic engineer. It works and I am sure is improved now and is something we must have.
I would like to know why the marriage penalty cannot be removed to improve inner city famiies.

The current media seem to be populated by people who live by and for emotion, not rational thought and actual evidence. They are cultivating a general population that carries those characteristics too. As long as electronic technology continues, the problem will get worse. There seems to be no reasonable solution.

I AM IN AGREEMENT WITH WILLIAM COATES COMMENTS. MOST CONSERVATIVES DO NOT PAY MUCH ATTENTION TO THE LIBERAL MEDIA. HOWEVER, IT APPEARS MOST OF OUR YOUNGER GENERATION THRIVE ON THE MODERN MEDIA. AS LONG AS ADVERTISERS SPEND THEIR DOLLARS WITH THEM, THERE IS NOT MUCH CONSERVATIVES CAN DO, EXCEPT STOP BUYING THOSE PRODUCTS, WHICH IS NOT GOING TO TAKE PLACE.

Dwight M Anderson - March 9, 2018

it is very important. Young people are completely within the sway of liberal media and most have no idea there is even a conservative viewpoint. Most educators are very liberal besides. That applies to high school and college.

Jerry Metcalf - March 10, 2018

Very important. the MSM should mocked for their views.

GayleGilliland - March 10, 2018

Very important that truth combats lies!

Berry Swantner - March 10, 2018

I’m sorry but the MSM will never change it
is totally populated with liberals who will
report the news in a way that fits their
personal feelings even if they have to
exaggerate or slant the story to do so.A
great example is their coverage of our
current president, they can’t stand all the
changes he has made to Obama’s
supposed legacy and other actions he’s
performed and he has received a 91%
negative press coverage. I thank the Lord for the alternative media every day.

Pat Ellis - March 10, 2018

Conservatives should make a MAJOR campaign to make public their views in as appealing and positive way possible and often. We are losing in the Media and on college campuses where our next voters are coming from. Get to work!

Jo Morris - March 11, 2018

THERE IS ONE THING THAT BOTHERS ME…WHY CAN THE LIBERALS DISOBEY OUR CONSTITUTION? Example: going into the computer and stopping people from things they say? Now, I don’t mean just stopping bad language, but language that isn’t bad and truth is in the words of the writer. I hear that Facebook, Goggle, and Tweeter are working toward stopping people from their opinions on various subjects if they don’t agree with them. Is this not stopping free speech? If so, why are they getting away with it?

My concern centers on the federal and union controlled school system we refer to as “our” public schools. It bends the minds of young Americans, to one view their view. I wish we would examine the origin of Federally controlled schools in America. and introduce viable alternatives, free of teacher Union control and Federal Agenda. Then maybe fake news will have an audience able to think for themselves, not naively swallow what is thrown at them, and regurgitate what they are fed unquestioningly. “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.”
