Reaching more Americans with the conservative message is one of Heritage’s top priorities. That’s why Heritage experts are regularly advocating for conservative principles and policies in the media. Each week our Communications team assembles the “Best in the Press” of our television interviews, op-eds, and media mentions.

This week, The Daily Signal’s Kelsey Bolar called out liberals for putting politics before the people. Watch the video here.

Tom Jipping weighed in on how the “nuclear option” would impact judicial nominations. Watch the video here.

Read Bob Moffit’s op-ed in the Sacramento Bee, Hello, ‘Medicare for all.’ Goodbye, doctor-patient relationship.

See all the media hits here.

We’d love to hear where you go for the majority of your news. What news sources do you trust the most?

I like Newsmax, Breitbart, Glenn Beck and a few of the Fox News commentators (Hannity, Judge Jeanine).

I listen to Fox Business and Fox News, as well as Rush Limbaugh on my car radio. We don’t have a TV by choice. I also read many articles on I publish online a local news source, which has as its mission to separate fact from opinion. Opinion belongs only in the editorial section. My husband reads the Wall Street Journal on his iPad and reads the print version all sections.

FOX is the only honest network.

Thomas Wright - April 5, 2019

I wish I knew of who, other than you, that offered conservative new, or presented both sides. However, I can’t think of any single thing the liberals say (including those who claim to be conservative) that I agree with.

Robert (Bob) Clayton - April 5, 2019

I get my news from Heritage, The Daily Signal, FNC and Ben.

Gary Noerenberg - April 5, 2019

I listen to radio and follow several Internet dites. Radio is Salem readio for the most part plus Rush and Mark Levin. Internet takes me into Heritage, FRC, JW, MRC and some other sites.

I have not listened to network TV since 1995 wneh Sam Donaldson was arguing with Newt over the “cut” in school lunch program. Newt asked Sam how he could ask about a ‘cut’ when the budget was increasing and Sam’s reply was that ‘he would ask the questions!’ I turned it off and it hasn’t been back on

I have been dealing in China since the
early 70’s.
Today China is building 290 gigawatts
of new capacity. This is more then all
existing coal fleet in the U.S,
This also means the 100 trillion Green
New Deal will make do difference.

James Smith - April 6, 2019

I use some Fox News programs, and Fox Business programs. OAN as well more now that Fox producers and managers have become more liberal. Twitter and YouTube with caution. I have quit using my local newspaper. They have always been to the left, but now include USA Today!

Ben Fitzpatrick - April 6, 2019

I watch One America News. It is my primary source for news. The broadcasters are conservative and provide International News and US News with coverage of many of our President’s accomplishments. OAN is not available on any Comcast (NBC) cable network. AT&T does have OAN on cable and Direct TV.

Jim Christison - April 6, 2019

When I am at the gym, I listen to Rush, for two hours, three times a week. I watch Tucker, Sean, and Laura on Fox News. I stay away from the ABC, CBS, NBC channels, except for local news. In that case, NBC is a no-no. CBS, reluctantly, is my choice. I also receive news emails from the Heritage Foundation, Breitbart, and Fox News.

James Green - April 7, 2019

My husband and I are enthusiastic supporters of Heritage. But we are retired, and much prefer reading articles to watching videos of interviews. We realize that by offering these videos, you are probably appealing to a younger, more robust generation. But we find ourselves simply bypassing the videos and never learning the points they convey.

Author Dustin Howard - April 8, 2019

Hi Anne,

Thanks for the feedback. We try to offer both in “Best of the Press”. We lead with the videos for the people who just want a taste of what Heritage offered the public, but this week alone, we also offered 139 total print mentions and op-eds. We want to have something for everyone, but also to show folks that we are actively seeking audiences in all media outlets to expand the conservative movement, and be the best advocates we can be for conservative ideas.

Thank you again for sharing!
