Young Professionals’ Reception and Discussion-Atlanta

June 3, 2010 at 5 Seasons Westside

Most people in their 20s and 30s have grown up in a time of unparalleled prosperity in America. Their parents’ generation has become wealthier than any other generation in America’s history.  These boom years have led to exceptional growth and wealth creation.  Many young professionals have always assumed that these opportunities will exist for them as well.  But is this really the case?  The enormous growth in government debt and new policies being proposed today, particularly the recently passed health care legislation, make the opportunities less likely.

On June 3, renowned economist Bill Beach explained how this Administration’s policies will affect America’s young professionals in a discussion entitled “Will Opportunity Keep Knocking? How Government Policies are Making it Harder for You to Become Successful”.  Beach shared real solutions to the economic problems facing the country and particularly the younger generation, from the tax implications of ObamaCare and other proposed tax increases to the economic impact of healthcare mandates and the historically high debt burdens, including inflation.
