The Heritage Foundation is constantly looking for new ways to reach Americans across the nation with principled, conservative ideas.
Next week, Heritage fellow and former Congressman Ernest Istook is launching his new talk show, Istook Live! Heritage members will have the opportunity to call in and ask questions of the man who knows Washington better than most.
Istook is a veteran of politics. He’s seen all the political tricks from the inside and isn’t shy about describing them on-air—in plain, concise English. Istook first developed his talent in college as a broadcaster, then as a reporter, before becoming a lawyer who could relate with juries of everyday people. Istook knows the issues in-depth, explains them in everyday terms, and connects the dots so the big picture is always clear.
Before the show officially launches next Monday, Istook wanted to give an exclusive preview to Heritage Foundation members.
The preview runs all this week, from 9:00 a.m. to noon Eastern. You can listen live online.
Here’s how you can engage with the show:
- Call in to ask your questions at 855-4-ISTOOK (855-447-8665) during the live broadcast
- E-mail in your questions to info@istook.com (make sure to include your name and hometown)
- Leave your comments or questions on Istook Live’s “24/7 Line,” by phoning 855-4-ISTOOK (855-447-8665) and leaving your question or comment on a recording we could use on the show. Again, please be sure to include your name and hometown.
