Jay Rinehart is responsible for communicating the mission of The Heritage Foundation, as well as our effectiveness in promoting conservative values, to Heritage Members living in the Central Western region of the United States.
Jay has over twenty years of professional experience including eight years working on Capitol Hill and five years in the private sector. During his time on Capitol Hill, Jay served in the office of Congressman Jim Ryun in such capacities as Legislative Aide, Press Secretary, and most recently as the Congressman's Deputy Chief of Staff. In addition, Jay has worked as a high school government and middle school social studies teacher in Scott City and Jackson School Districts in Missouri, as well as a camp instructor at Kanakuk Kamps, working with young adults in outdoor adventure activities.
Jay earned his MBA from Regent University and two B.S. degrees from Southeast Missouri State University. He is a native of Jackson, MO and currently lives in Washington D.C.
