The Southern California Committee for Heritage hosted a panel discussion titled "Enough is Enough: Why Government Spending and Regulations Will Lengthen the Recession and Slow Economic Growth," followed by a dinner with Karl Rove.

The panel discussion featured Heritage experts Alison Acosta Fraser, Director of Thomas A. Roe Institute for Economic Policy Studies Fraser; William Beach, Director of Center for Data Analysis; and James Gattuso, Senior Research Fellow for Thomas A. Roe Institute for Economic Policy Studies.
