About the Committee
The mission of the Colorado Committee for Heritage is to extend the influence of conservative ideas and principles in Colorado and to support Heritage’s mission and vision for America.
Community Committee Members are leaders in the Colorado area and supporters of The Heritage Foundation. At the invitation of Heritage’s President, Ed Feulner, these members are asked to undertake two key responsibilities:
- Plant a permanent flag for Heritage in their areas by focusing on the following:
- Membership Expansion
- Programs and Events
- Legislative Outreach
- Media Outreach
- Youth Outreach
- Lead Heritage's fundraising efforts in their areas.
About the Chairman
Curt Grina retired early from a career in technology development and entrepreneurship and with his wife Susan, moved to Colorado in 2000. As founder and CEO of an international technology company, he gained broad experience in business, marketing and capital financing.
He has a BS from Virginia Tech and did postgraduate work at Wake Forest University and Virginia Tech. He graduated in 2009 from the Leadership Program of the Rockies.
Curt has served as President of the Pikes Peak Medical Center Association where his leadership was instrumental in bringing the new regional hospital to reality. He serves in several other volunteer roles in the community including the Teller Wildfire mitigation Commission of which he was a founder and serves as a chairman. Other roles include chairman of Teller County Republicans, chairman of Pikes Peak Regional Hospital Operating Board, and a director of the Leadership Program of the Rockies.
