National survey on a conservative America

This past fall, The Heritage Foundation conducted a survey of conservatives around the country, asking their opinion on the principles governing public policy. The response was clear: conservatives overwhelmingly support policies which make America safe, strong and prosperous and which uphold traditional values like free enterprise and self-reliance.

1. It must be the government’s business and not something that should be done by the private sector, voluntary action, or not at all.
