Saunders, James become newest Heritage trustees
The Heritage Foundation has recently added two members to its Board of Trustees. Thomas A. Saunders III, founding partner of the private equity firm Saunders Karp & Megrue and a former managing director of Morgan Stanley, joined the Board in December 2005.
Three months prior, Kay Coles James, a former Heritage distinguished fellow and a Cabinet member for former Virginia Gov. George Allen, joined the group as well. She was more recently appointed by President George W. Bush as director of the Office of Personnel Management, the agency that handles the federal government’s employment policies for civilian workers.
Heritage welcomes these two strong leaders to help guide our work, and we have the utmost confidence that they’ll enhance our effectiveness and long-term stability. |
