Bolton, Will, Stossel address Heritage members
ABC News' John Stossel, host of 20/20, addresses the May President's Club meeting.
Heritage supporters from across the nation gathered in Washington, D.C., May 1–2 for our Spring President’s Club meeting. This highly anticipated Heritage event attracted a star-studded lineup of conservative scholars, policy experts, Members of Congress and Bush Administration officials to date—as well as extensive coverage by C-SPAN and the news media.
Heritage members enjoyed visits from U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton, who delivered common-sense ideas on cleaning up the U.N.; renowned columnist George Will, who provided a witty yet insightful take on current events; investigative reporter extraordinaire John Stossel, who explained the dire need for school choice; and House Majority Leader John Boehner (R–OH) and Rep. John Shadegg (R–AZ), both of whom offered a behind-the-scenes look at what’s going on in Congress.
This remarkable lineup of speakers is a testament to Heritage’s continued impact in Washington. Make plans now to join us this November 13–14 for the Fall President’s Club meeting, which will feature post-election analysis and maybe even some White House predictions for 2008—all, of course, from a “who’s who” of conservative leaders.
