Tim Chapman
Director, Center for Media & Public Policy
Tim Chapman is the Director of the Center for Media and Public Policy at The Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C. Chapman writes a weekly column for Townhall.com, Human Events Online and the Philadelphia Evening Bulletin. His writings have also been published at other websites including National Review Online. Chapman is a frequent guest on panels and radio shows dealing with the emerging new media and the blogosphere and he also hosts similar panel events at the Heritage Foundation.
Chapman is the cofounder of the weekly conservative blogger briefing, a gathering of conservative bloggers in Washington, DC.
Prior to directing the Center for Media and Public Policy Chapman worked in the press shops of Senators Don Nickles (R-OK) and Tim Hutchinson (R-AR), the government relations shop at Heritage and at the conservative political website Townhall.com.
Chapman earned a BA in Political Studies from Gordon College in Wenham, MA and he is the proprietor of his own blog, timchapmanblog.com. |
